Upon completing his residencies, Dr. Koffler came to the realization that most, if not all, disease states are a consequence of what has been brewing underneath, are multifactorial and outside of trauma most of what ails us start in the emotional state (i.e. how you handle and perceive life). You are what you think and you are what you eat.

Therefore, Dr. Koffler began to look at the importance of diet, exercise and mental status on overall well-being. It is his philosophy that to be a caring physician, you must see the patient as an individual, empathize with them and treat them as a whole. Dr. Koffler tries to integrate Western as well as alternative/complementary approaches to whole health through the appropriate balance of nutrition, exercise, and acupuncture for the purpose of addressing issues such as stress, fatigue, anti-aging, musculoskeletal and nerve related problems. He treats patients the way he would like to be treated. What ails one person may not have the same root cause as someone else although his or her symptoms may appear similar. That is the primary reason Dr. Koffler spends the time getting to know the concerns and issues a patient may have. The current allopathic medical model tends to pigeonhole symptoms into a diagnosis that is convenient and then forces it to fit into the insurance model of one-diagnosis fits all with a generic pill or two to fix it. Contrary to that model, Dr. Koffler will listen to the patient, ask pertinent questions and educate them on their condition. He then will create a health plan with the patient that educates and empowers. When necessary, he will work with other quality, alternative as well as conventional practitioners that he can trust to make sure the patient receives what they need in order to heal. Dr. Koffler wants patients to see him as a resource in empowering them to obtain and maintain optimal health. This is why he is continually furthering his education in Nutrition, Age Management Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Mind-Body Wellness. Michael is an experienced and highly skilled cosmetic nurse with a diverse professional background in both mechanical engineering and healthcare. He earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Roger Williams University in 2008 and worked in the engineering field for two years before finding his true calling in nursing.

In 2013, after completing his nursing education at Naugatuck Valley Community College and earning his degree, Michael began his healthcare career working night shifts in a nursing home and on the oncology floor at Danbury Hospital. His passion for aesthetics led him to pursue certification in Botox and dermal fillers through the Aesthetics Skin Institute in early 2014. Michael quickly transitioned into aesthetic nursing, combining his clinical skills with an artistic eye.

Michael is now the owner of Revive Beauty and Wellness in Brookfield, Connecticut, where he leads a thriving practice focused on delivering personalized, natural-looking results. Known for his precision, professionalism, and client connections, Michael has built a reputation as a trusted expert in the cosmetic industry.

In addition to running his practice, Michael travels to other medical spas, offering hands-on training in the latest aesthetic techniques and technologies. His previous experience as a clinical educator with Merz Aesthetics—where he trained providers on the use of Xeomin, Radiesse, and Belotero—has made him a sought-after mentor in the industry.

Lena Kisciras, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Aesthetic Injector at Revive Beauty and Wellness. With a strong clinical background in dermatology, allergy and immunology, and aesthetic medicine, Lena brings a comprehensive approach to helping patients look and feel their best. She earned both her BSN and Master of Science in Nursing from Pace University and combines her medical expertise with a passion for delivering personalized, natural-looking aesthetic results.

Adriana is a licensed esthetician with over two years of hands-on experience in skincare and beauty. As a certified brow artist specializing in microblading, she is passionate about enhancing natural beauty with precision and care. She also works as our medical assistant where she supports advanced aesthetic treatments and helps clients feel confident in their own skin.

Tabatha is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, holding both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Western Connecticut State University. She has been a Registered Nurse since 2013 and is certified in critical care nursing.

With over a decade of broad clinical experience, Tabatha has worked in medical and surgical critical care, cardiac stepdown, pre-admission testing, pre- and post-anesthesia care, medical aesthetics, and male hormone replacement therapy. She now specializes in medical weight loss, combining her advanced clinical knowledge with evidence-based treatments tailored to each individual’s unique needs to support lasting, healthy outcomes.
